One of the bigger events in Dallas every year, Dallas Arts Month is a city wide celebration of everything art. Now in it’s 10th year it’s held every April to foster awareness of local artists and it’s a great excuse to go out drinking in the MetroPlex. There is a wide range of activities ranging from your classic festivals with music, the opera, movies in the park, and film festivals just to name a few activities. Many of the events are held in and around the downtown area. So you can check out the happy hour scene in Uptown and Deep Ellum while enjoying the cultural experience that is Dallas Arts Month.
